Venue, Accommodation

The conference will take place on beautiful Berns Salonger (www.berns.se/en/events) in the center of Stockholm. The Conference programme provides accommodation for all selected international participants. For more information, see the Conference website www.branobelconference.com.

A block reservation has been made at the Scandic Sergel Plaza (www.scandichotels.se) in Stockholm. You will receive a hotel booking form upon confirmation of your registration.

The selected participants will get an invitation to the Conference by the end of July 2013. By invitation you will be informed about the programme, the specific conference panels and the format of the paper to submit, as well as organisational details, in due time.

NBRC will not be able to cover travel expenses for all selected participants. However a limited number of attendance grants will be available for the researcher whom scientific paper has been accepted and will be presented at the Conference.

Transportation

When you arrive in Stockholm, we will be offering bus or express train transportation from the Arlanda Airport to the hotel. At the airport, a bus guide will be on site to help you find the right bus outside the main entrance. The hotel, the conference center and the social reception on September 12, 13 & 14 are close to each other and you are able to walk.

Visa and Letter of Invitation

Participants are advised to make their own arrangements with respect to entering Sweden as member of Schengen Countries. Individuals requiring an official letter of invitation in order to obtain a visa and authorization to attend the conference will get the invitation by e-mail in August 2013.

Please apply for the visa within reasonable time!

Dinner reception

The organizer invites the participants to a buffet dinner at the Nobel Museum beautifully situated in old city of Stockholm on September 12. Special invitation for the Gala Dinner at Grand Hotel on September 14 will be delivered.

Broadcast

It will be possible to follow the conference at a distance, as most of the conference’s content will be broadcast live on www.branobelconfeence.com.

 

GUIDELINES

We are happy to see that there are many papers and keynote speakers participating in the conference. It indicates that we must be disciplined with the time use and have guidelines for the presentations - so that everyone will get their allocated time.

To chairman of the sessions:

- All speakers shall in good time before their session download their presentations in the computer in the conference room.

- Keynote speakers will have 10 minutes for their presentations

- Invited speakers and authors of paper will have ten minutes to present their papers and then follows a ten minutes conversation with the audience under the lead of the chairman..

Your role as a chairman is crucial in order to keep the schedule. As a help you will  have a small bell with which you will give small ring when the speaker have two minutes left and a much louder ring when the time is up. Please check in good time before your session that participants have loaded their presentations in the computer in the conference room. After each paper presentation your role is to lead a 10 minutes conversation.

Where will the meeting take place?

The meeting will take place at the Berns Salonger, in Stockholm, Sweden.

 

Where will I stay?

What does registration include?

There is no participation fee for the meeting. Participants may cover the costs of their travel and accommodation.

 

What is the working language of the meeting?

The conference language is English, Azerbaijani, and Russian. The simultaneous interpreting will be provided during the plenary and all other sessions as well.

 

By when do I need to register?

We encourage you to register as soon as possible, but no later than Sunday, August 31.

 

Do I need a visa?

Sweden is a member of Schengen Countries and participants are kindly advised to make own arrangement with respect to entering Sweden. However individuals requiring an official letter of invitation in order to obtain a visa and or authorization to attend the conference will get the invitation by email as request. To obtain the letter of invitation, please provide your passport details on the registration form.

Information on the programme can be found on the Conference website at www.branobelconference.com. Upon registration, you will receive your personal access to the private area of the Discussions Forum concerning the papers.
